Qual o piloto que mais gostas de defrontar?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Infelizmente já faleceu, mas tive imenso gosto de ter defrontado o Colin Mcrae, chegado mesmo a andar á frente dele na Baja de Portalegre de 2004, mas de um modo geral e seja em que modalidade for, são todos aqueles que são aguerridos e tem a mesma paixão pelo automobilismo.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="color:#000099;"&gt;7. Apenas tive 3 carros e em todos eles aprendi e diverti-me muito, mas claro que me está a dar um enorme gozo descobrir e melhorar a minha performance na Isuzu D-Max que é realmente um carro fantástico.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4 – Qual o piloto que mais gosta de defrontar? Se sim qual é?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;R:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Tenho muitos, no plano internacional o Nasser Al-Attiyah e o saudoso Colin Macrae. A nível nacional temos também dos melhores pilotos da modalidade, por isso admiro todos os pilotos, claro que para mim alguns se destacam mais como: Carlos Sousa, Filipe Campos, Francisco Esperto, Ricardo Leal dos Santos, Rui Sousa, Santos Godinho, ainda que, com características diferentes são todos pilotos que admiro, não só pelo que conseguiram enquanto pilotos, mas também pela forma como estão nas corridas. O melhor de cada um deles com certeza daria o melhor piloto e projecto de sempre J.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;7 – Falando do CPTT, acha que com os BMW X3 CC e com o Racing Lancer, este é um dos melhores Campeonatos Português de Todo-o-Terreno de sempre?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;R:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Em qualidade seguramente que sim, infelizmente em quantidade será dos mais fracos de sempre. E penso que tal não se deve apenas à crise que o país e o mundo atravessam. Todas as entidades envolvidas devem olhar com seriedade para esta realidade, porque inevitavelmente que se não houver quantidade, com o tempo também a qualidade desaparecerá. O valor das inscrições da próxima prova do campeonato explicam com toda a certeza parte do que está a acontecer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;8&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt; – Quais os seus objectivos para esta época?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;R:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Apesar da inesperada vitória que conquistámos na 1ª prova os nossos objectivos continuam inalterados. Tal como todos os homens de excepção, deixou-nos um enorme vazio e será para sempre um marco e um exemplo. O seu trabalho é de relevância, não só para o TT, como também para Portalegre. Manuel, é um prazer entrevistar um grande piloto como você. Quer explicar como começou a sua paixão pelo Todo-O-Terreno?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Na verdade foi algo de inesperado. Embora sempre tivesse sentido uma atracção pelos desportos motorizados, nunca tinha pensado acabar na competição de todo-o-terreno, até porque as experiências que trazia eram de modalidades corridas em circuito, ou mesmo do todo-o-terreno mas mais numa perspectiva da “trialeira”, o ultrapassar de obstáculos. O momento que marcou a minha entrada para o TT foi vivida em Arraiolos ao experimentar um carro, na altura uma Nissan Navara, e onde fiquei com a certeza que era por ali que estava o meu caminho. Juntou-se o incentivo e da força que recebi de algumas pessoas que acreditavam que teria potencial. Nesse ano (2006) não consegui preparar o projecto a tempo, e isso veio atrasar o projecto em um ano. Os pilotos com quem me costumo bater de uma forma mais próxima, mesmo com esses tenho uma relação extraordinária, e custa-me genuinamente quando os azares lhes batem à porta. Quando estou em pista faço tudo por tudo para dar o meu melhor, mas não jogo sujo. Talvez o fim do ultimo transibérico tenha sido um dos mais marcantes, porque não estava fisicamente em condições, e foi com um gigantesco esforço que consegui chegar ao fim. Por outro lado e por motivos diferentes, o dia em que escolhi a Paredecar como preparador… foi uma viragem de 180º… são excelentes profissionais, excelentes professores, e com uma dedicação sem fim. Tem sido com eles que tenho aprendido muito. De resto acho que o TT é ainda um desporto onde os pilotos competem, mas de uma forma muito salutar. Certamente não existe outra modalidade com este espírito mesmo entre adversários.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;6 – Tem algum ídolo? Quer explicar como começou a sua paixão pelo Camiões De Todo-o-Terreno?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Começou por acaso quando decidi tirar a carta de moto, já passava dos vinte anos de idade. A moto começou por ser apenas um meio de transporte urbano e vai daí decidi fazer um passeio de Todo-o-terreno. Gostei muito e decidimos comprar motos próprias para o todo-o-terreno. Todos os fins-de-semana lá íamos nós para o campo. Depois alguém se lembrou de fazer uma prova de competição e desafiou-me. Achei que não ia ser capaz. Realmente não acabei a primeira corrida mas fiquei definitivamente apaixonada pelo todo-o-terreno e, até hoje, nunca mais parei.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2 –&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qual foi o seu primeiro camião no Todo-o-Terreno?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; O primeiro camião foi um Mercedes alugado a uma equipa espanhola com muitos anos de idade e uma espessa camada de tinta. Serviu como experiência e sobretudo para perceber que era algo que estava ao meu alcance.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3 –&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;strong&gt;Qual o camião de Todo-o-Terreno que mais gostou de guiar?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Gostei muito do MAN M2000 que “faleceu” neste Dakar. Era uma simpatia de camião, muito fácil de conduzir e muito colaborante. Tive muita pena de o perder daquela maneira.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;4 –&lt;/span&gt; Qual o piloto que mais gosta de defrontar? E quem é o seu maior rival?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Não tenho um que se destaque mais que os outros.&lt;br /&gt;Quando vou para competição quero ficar o mais á frente possível na classificação. Isso depende da minha capacidade de condução, da preparação do camião da minha capacidade de gestão da equipa. Por isso penso que o meu maior rival sou eu própria porque estou sempre a tentar fazer melhor do que aquilo que sou capaz.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;5 –&lt;/span&gt; Qual o momento que mais a marcou na sua carreira?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Tive vários momentos bons que foram um grande incentivo. Lembro-me de ter ganho uma etapa no rali da Tunísia quando estavam lá os Kamaz a correr e foi um momento espectacular. Outro foi em 2000 quando terminei o Dakar de moto pela primeira vez. O Grândola 300, foi a minha primeira prova em 1992 e talvez tenha sido a mais importante de todas porque foi aí que tudo começou.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;6 –&lt;/span&gt; Tem algum ídolo? Se sim qual é?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Não sei se posso chamar-lhe ídolo mas tenho uma grande admiração por Valdimir Chagin. Acho que é de longe o melhor piloto de camião. Principalmente agora que já tenho camião!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;11 –&lt;/span&gt; Qual o factor que a atrai numa prova tão dura como é o Dakar?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R: &lt;/span&gt;O desafio e o facto de evoluir como ao superar todas as dificuldades que me vão surgindo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;12 –&lt;/span&gt; Na sua participação no Dakar qual o momento que foi mais marcante?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Se está a referir-se ao último Dakar o momento mais marcante foi aquele em que vi o camião arder na totalidade em pouco minutos. Marcante pela negativa, naturalmente. Foi de todos o momento mais terrível da minha carreira desportiva.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;13 –&lt;/span&gt; Acompanha alguma outra modalidade do desporto motorizado?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Trabalho demasiado e não me sobra tempo para nada. Por isso acompanho tudo muito pouco. É o “pai” do todo-o-terreno em Portugal. Foi ele que nos pôs a todos a correr e nos deu este gosto por África. É um exemplo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;15 –&lt;/span&gt; Este ano no Transibérico irão haver camiões e você vai lá estar?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;R:&lt;/span&gt; Estou a fazer os possíveis mas o camião chegou á uma semana e está tudo para fazer. Vamos de gás a fundo a preparar tudo da melhor maneira. Faço votos que consiga estar presente. Neste Dakar partimos a transmissão e fomos apanhar as peças ao meio da pista. Tínhamos que pôr o camião a andar e o Marco vestiu o fato de macaco pronto para trabalhar. “Temos de andar nem que seja com tracção a duas rodas!” dizia-lhe eu. Mas ele saiu debaixo do camião com a má notícia. “Não há nada a fazer. Respirei fundo e ao mesmo tempo ouço o Álvaro sugerir: “Espera lá, porque é que não pomos um saco de plástico?!” Pareceu-me completamente improvável que um saco de plástico conseguisse reter óleo quente sem se romper em 2 segundo. Buenos Aires, capital argentina, será o local de partida e chegada.“Os concorrentes do Dakar 2008 terão prioridade na inscrição”, disse Etienne Lavigne, o chefe da organização da competição, cujos pormenores sobre o percurso serão revelados amanhã em Buenos Aires. Há dias foi apresentada a primeira prova da nova competição “Dakar Series” e agora foi a vez do Automóvel Clube de Portugal e a Eurosport Events apresentarem Rally Raid World Tour, uma (também) nova competição de TT, que irá ter uma prova em Portugal, o Rali TT Vodafone Transibérico, que se irá realizar de 20 a 25 de Maio (antecipado uma semana relativamente à data inicialmente prevista) devido à parceria com a Eurosport Events, que, muito naturalmente, vai transmitir directos e resumos da prova portuguesa.&lt;br /&gt;Para já, as provas que estão confirmadas no calendário são o Por Las Pampas Rally, na Patagónia e o UAE Desert Challenge, no dubai, sendo o Transibérico o primeiro evento formalmente anunciado, que se junta a este campeonato. Para já, no caso português, a Rally Raid World Tour realiza-se em concomitância da Taça do Mundo de TT, e foi antecipada de modo a não colidir com o Torneio de Ténis Roland Garros, evento que também é televisionado pelo Eurosport.&lt;br /&gt;No total serão 2.500 quilómetros, dos quais, cerca de 1.500 são ao cronómetro. A prova inicia-se como vem sendo hábito no Estoril, o prólogo será em Mafra, e passará pelos distritos de Castelo Branco, Évora, em Portugal e Badajoz, já em Espanha&lt;/span&gt;. automóveis), mas agora trocando o velho Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2 DiD por um mais competitivo Pajero 3.5 V6 a gasolina, ao comandos do qual volta a assumir a dupla posição de piloto e navegador.&lt;br /&gt;Motivado pelos excelentes resultados obtidos nas duas ultimas edições da prova, onde ficou em primeiro(2006) e também em segundo(2007) na categoria "a solo", mas também pelas nada más exibições /&gt;A história do Rally Dakar remonta a 1977, ano em que piloto francês Thierry Sabine se perdeu no deserto do Sahara, quando participava no Rally Abidjan-Nice, na categoria motos.&lt;br /&gt;As buscas levadas a cabo para encontrar o piloto, revelaram-se sem sucesso e acabaram por ser concluídas após alguns dias.&lt;br /&gt;Mas Thierry continuava vivo e acabou por ser avistado por um pequeno avião monomotor.&lt;br /&gt;Depois de ter sido salvo, o piloto regressou ao seu país de origem. Mas agora, transportava consigo uma paixão intensa pelo deserto. Paixão essa que quis partilhar com o maior número possível de pessoas.&lt;br /&gt;E foi dessa vontade que nasceu aquela que hoje é a prova rainha em Todo-o-Terreno.&lt;br /&gt;No dia 26 de Dezembro de 1978, o sonho de Thierry Sabine tornava-se realidade com a saída do primeiro Dakar da Place du Trocadéro, em frente à Torre Eiffel, na capital francesa.&lt;br /&gt;170 participantes partiram para a aventura num percurso de 10 mil quilómetros pela França, Espanha, Argélia, Niger, Mali e Senegal. Apenas 69 conseguiram completar a travessia desta prova que ficou conhecida como “Paris-Dakar”.&lt;br /&gt;Nesta primeira edição, competiram numa única categoria, motos, carros e camiões.
